Lamalani

Lamalani hails from the Pacific Northwest and is Washington State Ms. Leather 2008. She has been active in the leather community since 1999 when she started teaching workshops through the women-owned sex toy store Babeland (formerly Toys in Babeland). Professionally, Lamalani makes hemp bondage rope with Twisted Monk. Lamalani has presented at Desire Leatherwomen's conference, Michigan Womyn's Festival, Portland Bad Girls and offers private classes around the Puget Sound area. She is an enthusiastic practitioner of rope bondage, fire play and roughhousing. Lamalani volunteers as a self-defense instructor with Home Alive and relaxes by playing percussion and riding her motorcycles.

Mina De Sade-Fatale

Mina De Sade-Fatale was born 0ct. 8th and raised in Hollywood CA.The older of 2, she graduated from the Hollywood High School of Performance Arts and from the Los Angeles Recording School also in Hollywood.
She has been an active public and private player of the BDSM arts for 11 years and is currently mentoring, training, and educating Dommes and subs in different aspects of BDSM.
She is a Rubberist, whose old guard background meshed well with the new guard in the Los Angeles Latex, Rubber and Leather community who want to keep the traditions of our past vibrant and alive as the folks who are in it.
Mina is a trained CNA, performance artist, dancer, and singer. She works as a marketing director and assistant of Bondage Ball Los Angeles, West Coast Fetish Ball, and Sexopolis Los Angeles.
An active volunteer the last decade of CSW in West Hollywood, she is currently a volunteer of LAL, LALC, Dom Con Los Angeles and Atlanta when needed. She is currently Ms. West Coast Olympus leather 2008, and 1st. runner up to Ms. Intl. Olympus Leather 2008 at Pantheon of Leather.
Mina's future goals are to continue her education in psychology, BDSM, post humanism, and fetish identification. She aspires to open a school to educate all interested in the BDSM lifestyle.
She is part of a Latex/ Leather Family in San Diego (Dungeon Servitus) and is an active supporter of Sanctuary, LADS, THRESHOLD, Dungeon Servitus L.A., and events at the Passive Arts Studio L.A. She is also a member of CoRE Los Angeles in which duties included being an administrator and a production manager for some of the Los Angeles performances.
During her down time, she is playing bass, singing, dancing, reading books on philosophers of her liking, culturing her heterosexual/gay stable in Los Angeles CA. and furthering her interests in BDSM. Her favs are objectification, medical play, mummification, needle play, corporal punishment, and military fetish.

Sarah Sloane

Sarah Sloane is a queer polyamorous sadomasochist from the Washington DC metro area. She is a BDSM / Polyamory / Sexuality educator who has been presenting for organizations and events all along the eastern half of the USA and into Canada for the past eight years; she also works with individuals to learn skills and techniques to enhance their lives. She works as a personal / virtual assistant for select clients, and writes on topics related to sexuality, gender, and psychology.
Sarah has taught literally hundreds of classes for kink, leather, fetish, and general sex education to for-profit and not-for-profit shops, events, and organizations around the world. Her current schedule of presentations is updated regularly on her website - in 2009, she's already scheduled to teach at over 15 events with a total of over 35 classes and panels. She also customizes and teaches classes for individuals and small groups.
Sarah is a writer and regular contributor to BestSexBloggers.com, writes and edits articles for EdenFantasys.com on sexual education and technique, and is also the current Contributing Editor to Tristan Taormino's newsletter, The Double T. Her other writing can be found on her website, www.sarahsloane.net, and is also scheduled to be included in a few upcoming anthologies.
With a strong belief that she has been called to serve her community, she seeks out opportunities to assist in raising funds, mentor other leatherfolk, enhance smaller groups ability to serve their members through education, and looks for ways to enhance understanding between our various subcultures. Sarah hopes that her participation in IMsL will allow her to carry that message of service to others, and that it will put her in a position to make a wider positive impact on the community at large.

Pony

Pony is one of two bootblacks in residence at the Leather Rose Association in Chicago. Her work is well respected in her home community and she has a loyal Òfan clubÓ She was named Kentucky Bootblack 2006 and represented the state of Kentucky at the Great Lakes Leather Alliance bootblack contest in August, 2006 where she placed second.
Pony started Òdoing bootsÓ back in her involvement with ROTC and a military honorary fraternity: The National Society of Pershing Rifles. She had no idea that it was anything other than just a part of keeping the uniforms spiffy. After becoming involved in the lifestyle, however, she was awakened to a whole new world of bootblacking.
Pony is an ordained minister in a mainline Christian denomination and has a Masters of Divinity degree from an accredited theological seminary. She does not seek to separate her spirituality from her Leather life and has been fortunate to find ways to integrate the two.
She is also known as Òponygirl Missy CometÓ and is is an award-winning ponygirl. She has been a ponygirl since 2004 and has been featured in Equus Eroticus Magazine as well as the ÒPonygirls at WorkÓ video and the ponyplay segment on the Playboy channel's Sexcetera (episode #62, May 2005).
Pony teaches classes in ponyplay, Christian spirituality, and bootblacking. She proudly served as the event bootblack for ÒAnything for LoveÓ. She has volunteered as staff for numerous other events, including Leather Retreat, Dark Odyssey Winter Fire and the IML Bootblack Competition. As an ordained member of the clergy, she happily performs "non-traditional" and "same-sex" wedding ceremonies, along with offering counseling services to "non-traditional" couples and polyamorous families.
Pony is a member of the Leather Rose Association Chicago and an associate member of the Louisville Trailblazers.
